Telephone support is available to anyone in the Western Australia wanting to connect and talk to a professional volunteer about:

This program is facilitated by Busselton Hospice Care Inc. trained bereavement support volunteers.

Busselton Hospice Care Inc. (BHCI) provides access to high quality end of life and bereavement support to people in WA.

BHCI telephone support is for people already feeling isolated by end-of-life issues or bereavement, grief from the loss of a loved one, job, finances, independence, social connection or anyone who is struggling with limited human contact and would like to connect and talk to someone.

Connections matter. Strong ties with family, friends and the community provide us with happiness, security, support and a sense of purpose. Being connected to others is important for our mental and physical wellbeing and can be a protective factor from feeling isolated.

The BHCI phone support line is free of charge and available 5 days per week from 9.00am to 5.00pm. Calls out of these hours are encouraged to leave a message and a call back will be received within 48 hrs. Our personalised service also means you will always connect with the same support volunteer to ensure trust, confidentiality, and personal care.
