In these times of great uncertainty and change – Busselton Hospice Care Inc is here – supporting the community through dying, grief, death, loss and bereavement.

Busselton Hospice Care Inc has been providing end of life and bereavement support services to our local community for over 20 years and relies 100% on community donations and fundraising to sustain our operations. In return, our programs are provided free of charge, with no limits on service use.

Throughout the month of June, we are striving to raise $50,000 towards the cost of providing our volunteer support services in the Busselton Health Campus Hospice Unit, at the Geographe Bay Centre’s Bereavement Support, Complementary Therapy , Home Visiting Volunteers, Carer Education and Grief Connect Call Line programs. We also raising awareness that some people in our community may be struggling with end-of-life issues or grieving and how, as a community we can support them.

By making a donation to our ‘Go Blue in June’ appeal, and wearing something blue every day in June, you can show your support. All donations of $50 or more will be in the running to win one of several fantastic prizes including a stunning, hand-made queen sized patchwork quilt, a massive hamper full of Margaret River Chocolate Factory chocolates or a year’s membership to Local Advantage – offering re-usable vouchers to a huge range of cafes, restaurants, and other businesses in the south west.

All donations over $2.00 are tax deductible and your donation can be a one-off, a regular donation, a gift in your will, or workplace giving.

You can also choose to dedicate your donation in the name of a loved one by releasing a Virtual Remembrance Balloon. Details are on our Donate page.

This is how your donation will help:

will ensure someone in their end of life journey, or their carer can receive a complementary therapy session.

will ensure an online carer education workshop can be run, to educate loved ones on how they can best care for their family member at home.

will train one new volunteer to support individuals and their loved ones through dying, death and bereavement.

will support one person through their end of life journey, with all of our services.
