Busselton Hospice Care Inc. is located in the City of Busselton in the south west of Western Australia.
We provide professional palliative care volunteering services that offer emotional and practical support and social connection to those living with a life limiting diagnosis/illness, receiving palliative care, their care givers and the bereaved.
We are committed to a philosophy of care that recognises end of life issues concerned with death, dying, palliative care, loss and bereavement affect us all and is everyone’s responsibility.
This philosophy is embedded in all our programs and the presence of volunteers is a direct expression of our community’s concern in ensuring individuals and their families remain connected and a part of their community.
Our palliative care volunteers provide support in:
- Bereavement Support Service at the Geographe Bay Centre
- Complementary Therapy Service at Geographe Bay Centre
- The Hospice Unit within the Busselton Health Campus
- Home visiting volunteer service and carer education webinar series.
